Packed Monday to Wednesday, so no box waits out a weekend in a depot.

ZIP first, then the day.

Top view of an opened Vernier shipping box: two blue-lidded tins on gel ice inside a white insulated liner, with the lot card tucked between them.

What arrives in the box.

A chilled liner, gel ice above and below, your sealed tins and a lot card. Never dry ice: it would freeze the grain.

Before the first box ships.

Where do you ship?

Overnight within the contiguous US, to a street address where someone can take the box in. Alaska, Hawaii and US territories on request. No PO boxes, and not outside the US yet: sturgeon caviar crosses borders only with CITES documents.

How much does shipping cost?

A flat fee, free on larger orders. No surcharge for choosing the day.

What if nobody is home?

Choose an address where someone can receive the box on the day, such as an office with a reception desk. The box should reach a fridge the day it arrives.

The box arrived warm or damaged.

Keep the tins sealed and cold, photograph the box and the bands, and write to us within 24 hours. We replace or refund; you send nothing back. Perishables policy

Can I send it as a gift?

Yes. Give their address and choose a day someone will be in. Release No. 01 adds a printed gift band.
